| David Campbell of Spirit Lake, formerly of Peoria, Ill., was named the new Audio/Visual
Systems Engineer at R & D Industries, Inc. in Milford last month, bringing
two decades of professional audio and electronic engineering experience to R &
D Industries' already elite team of engineers. In his new position, Campbell oversees
the design and implementation of professional sound and video systems for clients
positioned throughout the Midwest.
Campbell received his education in engineering while earning an electronics
degree at the Willmar Vocational Technical Institute in Willmar, Minn. Since
then, Campbell has worked as an electrical and sound engineer in several capacities,
most recently performing low-voltage and electrical engineering design at Clark
Engineers Midwest Inc. in Peoria, Ill. He currently holds a Level 1 Certification
in fire alarm systems and a Level 2 Certification in audio systems through the
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. Campbell is
also certified in fiber optic installation and has received training from Synergetic
Audio Concepts (Syn-Aud-Con) and TEF (Time/Energy/Frequency).
Campbell said his combination of education, experience and a passion for electrical
and audio engineering has prepared him well to join the integrated technologies
team at R & D Industries, Inc.
"Of the people I talked to and from what I've seen, this was my best opportunity
to work with one of the nation's leading contractors of audio/visual systems,"
Campbell said. "Using computer acoustic modeling software combined with
engineering experience, R & D Industries is able to provide the proper systems
for each application and venue."
For nearly 2 decades, R & D Industries, Inc., has remained a regional leader
in the design, engineering and implementation of quality sound and visual systems.
R & D Industries also excels as a provider of integrated computer design
and implementation through its Computer Networking Division. |
