Just as the Clay County Regional Events Center was designed and constructed to accommodate a wide variety of functions, diversity remained a critical element of the center's sound reinforcement system design. With that in mind, event center consultants turned to the acoustical experts and system engineers at R & D Industries, Inc. for assistance.
A renovation project of a historically significant auditorium, the project at Iowa City High was coordinated with Neuman Monson Wictor Architects in Iowa City, Iowa. The RDI engineering and installation team provided the district with a sound reinforcement system that exceeded their expectations.
The technical staff at R & D Industries provided a sound reinforcement and theatrical lighting design that met the Okoboji School District's goals. Utilizing our acoustical modeling techniques in conjunction with TEF onsite analysis, this project sounds as good as it looks.
Our acoustical consultants worked closely with the firm Allers Architects involved with constructing this new house of worship. RDI designed a sound reinforcement / video systems solution for the new worship space. Utilizing electro-acoustical analysis, room acoustics and sound reinforcement system performance was predicted prior to construction of the space.
This project consisted of a new worship facility addition attached to the existing building. RDI engineers consulted with architect Dan Hunt AIA of Architects Wells Kastner Schipper in Des Moines, Iowa to predict the acoustical outcome of the space. Our engineering staff then worked with church leaders to design and install a state-of-the-art video and sound reinforcement system that shines in both a contemporary and traditional setting.
Mixing a traditional approach to acoustics while implementing a cutting-edge loudspeaker design, the system engineers at R & D Industries provided an audio system for the new St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spirit Lake that is double-faceted.
Contacted during the church's renovation, R & D Industries provided acoustical consulting services for Westchester and provided them with a cutting-edge sound reinforcement system. By entering the project early in its planning stage, RDI was able to incorporate key elements of the system into the final renovation plans.
In planning for a new worship facility, church leaders at the Lake Park United Methodist Church understood the advantages of including acoustical consultants and sound reinforcement experts during the design stages of the project. Doing so ensured the acoustical success of their new facility.
With contact from the church’s sound committee, R & D Industries, Inc. was hired as the project acoustical consultant to renovate the sound reinforcement system within the historic First Presbyterian Church of Sioux City, Iowa, which was built in the early 1900’s.
A large, multifunctional space that host events from ice hockey to horse shows, the Windom Arena needed a sound reinforcement system that was functional for a variety of events. The engineering professionals at RDI designed and installed a solution that met both the wide ranging functionality requirements, as well as overcame problems associated with the acoustical space.
Settled in a residential area of West Des Moines, developers of this multi-million dollar complex sought to minimize the effect of sound on those living in the neighborhood. Therefore, developers contacted the experts at R & D Industries for an acoustical analysis and to design the stadium's sound reinforcement system.
